From screenshot to a buying decision.
1. Identify the exact item
WorthIt uses structured multimodal analysis to extract the product, important variants, identifiers, visible condition clues and any asking price. When confidence is too low and the variant materially affects value, you confirm or correct the item before a market check is consumed.
2. Search configured, permitted sources
Providers run through one normalization pipeline. Official marketplace/catalog APIs are preferred where available; broad public web discovery can supplement them. A source that requires credentials remains disabled until configured, and WorthIt never claims an unavailable marketplace was searched.
3. Normalize, deduplicate and rank
Listings are matched to the exact variant, grouped into relevant condition buckets, deduplicated and ranked by product accuracy, effective price, listing reliability and seller quality. Affiliate commission is not an input to ranking.
4. Estimate value and Deal Score
WorthIt combines current comparable prices, legitimate sold data when available, condition, match quality, recency and outlier handling. When the evidence is thin, it says so instead of inventing precision.
5. Keep watching with WorthIt+
Paid members can create price watches, new-listing alerts and return-window Purchase Watches. Recurring workers query supported providers in batches, suppress duplicate alerts, and send email notifications.
